ZodQR Abuse & Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose of This Policy

ZodQR is committed to providing a safe platform for generating and sharing QR codes. This Abuse & Acceptable Use Policy defines prohibited activities and explains how we handle abusive or harmful use of the platform.

This policy applies to all users and all QR codes created on ZodQR.

User-Generated Content Responsibility

ZodQR allows users to create QR codes that link to third-party content or destinations. Users are solely responsible for the content, URLs, and actions triggered by their QR codes.

ZodQR does not host, control, or endorse the external content linked through QR codes.

Prohibited Uses

The following activities are strictly prohibited on ZodQR:

3.1 Social Engineering & Phishing

  • Any form of social engineering, deception, or manipulation intended to mislead users.
  • Phishing pages designed to collect passwords, private keys, seed phrases, or sensitive credentials.

3.2 Wallet & Service Impersonation

  • Impersonation of crypto wallets, financial services, or brands (e.g., MetaMask or similar services).
  • Fake wallet connection, verification, claim, or recovery pages.

3.3 Misleading Crypto-Related Content

  • Fake airdrops, giveaways, token claims, or investment schemes.
  • Content designed to trick users into signing transactions or connecting wallets under false pretenses.

3.4 Malicious or Harmful Activity

  • Malware, spyware, or harmful downloads.
  • Redirect chains intended to conceal malicious destinations.
  • Any activity that may expose end users to security risks or financial loss.

3.5 Illegal or Abusive Content

  • Content that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Harassment, hate, or abusive behavior.
  • Use of ZodQR to facilitate scams or fraudulent schemes.

4. Enforcement Actions

If we detect or receive reports of abusive activity, ZodQR may take one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:

  • Disable or remove specific QR codes.
  • Suspend or permanently terminate user accounts.
  • Block access to certain URLs or destinations.
  • Restrict platform features.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities when legally required.

Actions may be taken with or without prior notice, especially where user safety is at risk.

5. Reporting Abuse

If you encounter a QR code or link generated via ZodQR that you believe violates this policy, please report it immediately.

When reporting abuse, please include:

  • The URL or QR code in question.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Any relevant screenshots or evidence.

6. Appeals

Users who believe their account or QR code was disabled in error may contact us at developer@mail.zodqr.com.

We reserve the right to deny appeals in cases of repeated, severe, or high-risk violations.

7. Policy Updates

ZodQR may update this Abuse & Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to address emerging threats or platform misuse. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
